After enduring long months of combat, our soldiers need a safe space to heal, process their experiences, and recharge their strength.
The "Warriors' Journeys" project is dedicated to providing our brave soldiers with a unique, restorative experience - helping them transition back to civilian life or continue their service with renewed energy.
These transformative journeys, set in nature and environments across various continents, are designed to rejuvenate the body and the soul.
We invite soldiers who have completed combat reserve duty and active duty, as well as female soldiers who have served at the front and combat teams, to join us on this life-changing journey.
Make It Heal is a unique global initiative based on organizational and financial collaborations, combining healing retreats, workshops, and training programs with social initiatives and local communities in Israel and around the world.
Partner with us to make a lasting impact on the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for Israel’s defence.
Let’s ensure they return home stronger and ready for what’s next.

Mindfulness-Based Journeys
Mindfulness
is a mental practice at the forefront of scientific research and therapy. The principles of mindfulness. the practice of being present in the moment without judgment is a perfect tool for the journey.
In recent decades, mindfulness practices and therapies have garnered significant attention in the scientific community for their profound impact on the brain, with over 11,000 clinical studies conducted.
Mindfulness programs are implemented worldwide in hospitals, schools, psychotherapy, corporations (Google, Apple, and Facebook), and even by governmental bodies such as the British Parliament and the European Union Council.
Mindfulness helps regulate emotional responses, enabling our soldiers to healthily manage difficult emotions.
In our journeys, we provide soldiers with practical, mindfulness-based tools that will support them not only during the journey but also upon their return and reintegration into their daily lives or when facing future challenges.
Benefits of Mindfulness in "Warrior Journeys":
-
Mental Resilience: Mindfulness helps develop mental resilience, allowing our soldiers to face challenges more effectively while overcoming difficulties.
-
Improved Sleep Quality: Mindfulness practice can significantly improve sleep quality, essential for physical and mental recovery.
-
Anxiety Reduction: Mindfulness provides tools to manage anxiety, allowing our soldiers to calm intrusive thoughts.
-
Emotional Regulation: Mindfulness aids in regulating emotional responses, helping soldiers deal with difficult emotions in a healthy manner.
-
Enhanced Self-Awareness: Mindfulness encourages deeper awareness of thoughts, emotions, and bodily sensations, allowing our soldiers to develop a more profound understanding of themselves and what they are going through.
-
Improved Focus: Mindfulness practice enhances the ability to focus on tasks, reduces distractions, and improves efficiency.
Examples of Countries Integrating Mindfulness in the Military:
Many countries worldwide recognize the value of mindfulness for soldiers and incorporate it into training and rehabilitation programs. Here are some notable examples:
-
United States: The U.S. military uses mindfulness as part of rehabilitation programs for wounded soldiers and in basic training.
-
United Kingdom: The British military offers mindfulness courses to soldiers to improve their mental well-being and reduce suicide rates.
-
Canada: The Canadian military uses mindfulness as part of a program for treating post-trauma.
-
